The Feminine Mystique (on view at Jersey City Museum August 15, 2007 – February 24, 2008) features contemporary artwork by women who address feminist issues, either directly or obliquely, in response to Betty Friedan’s seminal text of the same name. It includes a range of media by both well-known and emerging artists.
